Dr. Praveen Jayaram
Chief Dentist, Periodontist & Implantologist
Dr. Praveen Jayaram is the owner and chief dentist at Prisma Dental Care. He is a periodontist, gum specialist, implantologist, laser specialist, and general dentist with more than 25 years of clinical experience.
He is currently a Professor at The Oxford Dental College, Bengaluru, and has spent many years in teaching and research in dentistry. His areas of special interest include periodontal surgeries, dental implants, osseodensification, sinus lift procedures, immediate implants, immediate loading implants, All-on-4 implants, zygomatic implants, laser dentistry, and full-arch implant rehabilitation.
Dr. Praveen has over 19 years of experience in oral implantology. He is certified by the International Foundation for Implant Dentistry and is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has also trained in full-arch implant rehabilitation and regularly trains dentists and dental students in implant dentistry.
Dr. Sushma Das
Chief Dentist, Periodontist, Implantologist & Esthetic Dentist
Dr. Sushma Das is the co-owner and chief dentist at Prisma Dental Care. She is a periodontist, gum specialist, implantologist, and esthetic dentist with more than 25 years of clinical experience.
She has been actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate dental students for many years and has also contributed to dental research. She is certified by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, USA, and received her FICOI fellowship at the ICOI ASEAN Congress in Malaysia in 2019.
Dr. Sushma’s clinical focus includes dental implants, periodontal surgeries, esthetic dentistry, veneers, tooth-coloured fillings, and smile designing. She has also received research grants from the Advanced Research Wing of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and completed advanced postgraduate certification in clinical research.

How did we come up with
the name Prisma Dental?
The name Prisma Dental Care was achieved by an amalgamation of the first names of the founding members of the organization — Praveen Jayaram and Sushma Das.
